How to play

What is the goal?
Grow your wallet by withdrawing coins from the Bank. The Bank is filled by everyone's deposits — and by plays that don't land.
How does a round start?
Every player deposits the same amount (5, 10 or 25 coins — set by the host) into the Bank. Turns go in order, and the starting player rotates every round.
What happens on my turn?
You're dealt 2 open cards, visible to the whole table. A is 1, J is 11, Q is 12, K is 13. Choose Play or Pass. Passing costs nothing.
How much can I play for?
Always a multiple of the deposit. Minimum 1 deposit; maximum is the Bank balance or half your wallet, whichever is lower — so a double deposit is always covered.
What does the cut card decide?
Strictly between your cards → withdraw your play amount from the Bank. Outside → deposit your play amount. Matches one of your cards (a clash) → double deposit.
What is Ride Along?
When someone declares a Play, everyone else gets a few seconds to ride the same cut for one deposit: Back = it lands between, Fade = it misses. Right riders withdraw one deposit; wrong riders deposit one. A clash counts as a miss. Skipping is always fine.
How many decks are used?
2–4 players: 1 deck. 5–8 players: 2 decks. More decks keep more copies of your ranks alive — more clashes, more drama. Fresh shuffle every round.
What if everyone passes?
The Bank carries over and everyone deposits again on top. When it swells past 10× the deposit, the table enters a golden Vault round.
What if someone empties the Bank?
The round ends immediately. Everyone deposits again and a fresh round begins.
What if I disconnect?
Your seat stays. Your turns auto-pass until you return by rejoining with the same code and name. If the host disconnects, the table closes — this is a friendly prototype, be kind to your host.
Are the coins real?
No. Coins are virtual with no cash value, ever. This is a social game among friends.
